BetterBeingBuilt to close the gaps
mental healthcare left open.
BetterBeing started with a pattern that was impossible to ignore: students withdrawing under a crisis that makes them 6× more likely to experience depression than the general population; ethnic minority communities where fewer than 1 in 3 people receive the care they need; and seniors whose depression goes undetected, masked by the isolation of age. Support existed — but too often, it failed to reach those who needed it, and when it did, it failed to address the actual issues.
The problem was never a lack of professionals who cared. It was that the systems around them made good care harder to deliver. Clinicians spend up to 40% of their time on documentation and administration — hours taken directly from patients. Fragmented software meant critical information rarely followed the patient. And existing tools failed to account for the cultural and linguistic diversity of the people they were meant to serve.
BetterBeing was built to change that. We provide a unified platform for care, coordination, and cultural accessibility — designed so that the people often overlooked are no longer left behind.
